A convertible space for Serviceplan, Berlin.

überlab Berlin is a dynamic workspace rooted in the House of Communication by Serviceplan Group, designed for creative minds, modern teams, and forward‑thinking organizations. It brings together flexible office, coworking, conferencing, and event spaces in the heart of Berlin‑Mitte, offering an environment that goes beyond conventional workspaces by fostering interaction, inspiration and community.

We were commissioned to design a modular furniture system capable of adapting to a variety of spatial needs, such as workshops, lectures, collaborative teamwork, temporary workstations, informative talks and alike.

The system we designed can be effortlessly nested together, with each module guided smoothly by integrated castors.

Depending on the type, the upper surfaces of the modules include features such as drawers, power outlets, privacy panels, or upholstered cushions. This allows for a wide range of spatial configurations — from tiered seating and counters to temporary workstations.
