Unfolding a Place for Gatherings and Conversation with SBT120.

In 2023, we were commissioned to design the new event space for KINK Bar & Restaurant at Pfefferberg, Berlin. To maximise flexibility, we developed a foldable table that could be stored away. From this starting point, we continued refining the design, reworking its geometry, detailing, finishes, and material palette. The final product is made of stained and oiled plywood and comes in a variety of sizes.

SBT120 originated from the development of the foldable event table for KINK. Reducing the construction to its essentials gave the design a clear rhythm and a character that is both archaic and elegant.

The round version was created for the fabulous five guys at Sattblau, who opened their restaurant / café / bar / wine store concept in Gießen in late 2025.
